“ASCO was founded in April, 1959, when the opportunity came up to purchase a small company. At that time Asco was 3000 sq ft,  located in an old TTC horse stable and had 2 employees. It was perfect for me as we were manufactuding furniture hardware only for the furniture industries (table slides, leg brackets, angles, etc, which se still manufacture).”

We have grown over these last 57 years to become one of Canada’s leading furniture suppliers for our educational institutions including schools, colleges and universities.

ASCO’s product line has expanded from highly specialized steel parts to full fledged designer lines. Over the years ASCO also expanded vastly into combined woodworking and metal. We now occupy a 25,000sq ft plant and employ over 30 people, including some of the most accomplished tradesmen in the country.
